A lot of my friends are pretty stiff when they play, stomping around like they have weights on their feet. I told them it's MUCH easier if you stand of your toes and roll (sort of) from arrow to arrow on your dance mat (at home). It's not only easier, but it actually looks like you're dancing... in a way.

I hope this tip helps anyone who clomps around at home when they really don't have to.

"The only upside to anger, then, is the person you become - hopefully, someone that wakes up one day and realizes they're not afraid to take the journey; someone that knows that the truth is, at best, a partially told story; that anger, like growth, comes in spurts and fits, and in its wake, leaves a new chance at acceptance, and the promise of calm." -The Upside of Anger

yea, stomping on the mats can damage them...through time. It's much better to simply tap, roll, or touch the sensors with your foot than stomping on them.
